Bertha owns Be Hair Salon and has built her reputation across the Bay on curly and wavy hair — the kind of work that brings clients back from out of town because nobody nearby quite gets it right. She has a natural eye for shape and the way hair should fall, and she'll listen carefully before she cuts.

She's also the stylist who'll figure something out when other salons say "we don't do that" — braided updos that hold for days, special-occasion work, post-surgery styling that has to stay safely out of the way. Kind, funny, empathetic, and unhurried.
